The report shows that the dependency of our food system on fossil fuel-based fertilizers led to a devastating impact on the environment, while 85 to 95% of fertilizers applied to the soil are lost. The webinar will cover:
  • The impact of the excessive use of nitrogen fertilizers.
  • The relation between fertilizer use, dependence on fossil fuels, and food security.
  • Working and not-working solutions to reduce excess nitrogen use.
